We are a registered, locally owned and operated tour agency here to serve you. The company was established in 2005 after much research of the tourism industry and services available in Timor Leste. It soon became clear that the services available left much to be desired and a fully East Timorese partnership was established to help improve that situation.
Being a locally owned and operated business means that by giving us your patronage you are actually helping East Timor lift itself from the ashes because your money stays in East Timor.

Eco Discovery is proud to be an environmentally responsible company which aims to protect our environment, and educate people on good preservation practices.

Our East Timor tours range from guided drives around the capital Dili to longer tours that will take you around the country and designed to give you a full insight of this beautiful place under the sun and the lives of its people.

We provide a range of land and water based tour activities and strive to provide the best service around, from scenic drives to safaris, expeditions into the most remote locations, bird watching and mountain trekking, or simply a boat trip or sports fishing. We will take you to the “Heart of the Sleeping Crocodile” on an interactive cultural experience, beyond what is commonly known.

For the meantime we have a small but well maintained fleet of four-wheel drive vehicles fully air-conditioned and our 6.5 meter fully equipped aluminium boat “BeAzul”.

Additionally, our Staff are fluent in English, Portuguese and Tetum as well as a number of other local dialects. Who better than the locals to provide you an insight of the "real" Timor Leste? Our Staff are also fully trained in 4X4 driving techniques and equipped to deal with any situations on the road or sea.
