Sports Fishing

Our sports fishing tours are an exciting way to explore the rich fishing grounds East Timor has to offer, with reports of catches of large tuna, mackerel, sailfish and even the big black One! More often than not, You will also have the wonderful experience of sailing along with hundreds of friendly dolphins and catch a sight of graceful whales!

Given the relatively short period of independence and exposure to the outside world, our waters are largely uncharted (where Sports fishing is concerned). There is little commercial fishing activity in Timor Leste and so far our waters remain fully stocked. Our northern sea is a deep channel about 3000 meters deep between the main island and the various other islands among them beautiful Ataúro Island north of Dili, and a passage for pellagics or other types of fish abound. But it will take all the skills you have to catch them. Be our guest and one of the first to take the challenge? 

Our boat is fully equipped to international standards, our crew consists of locals, and the Captain a certified boat operator, experienced and passionate about sports fishing. BeAzul  Crew have an in-depth knowledge of the country, culture and waters.
